Discussions Between Oman & Fujairah Chambers to Enhance the Economic Cooperation

A delegation from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Sultanate of Oman, headed by Eng. Redha Juma Al-Saleh, visited the headquarters of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he met with its Chairman Shaikh Saeed Sorour Saif Sorour Al Sharqi, in the presence of the Ahmed Salim Saeed Al Sudain, the President of the Arab Union for Investment and Real Estate Development, the Chamber’s Director General Sultan Jemei AlHindasi, and the Chamber BOD members and a number of directors of local departments and institutions in the Emirate of Fujairah.

Al-Saleh praised the development of relations between the two countries, stressing that the common denominators between the Sultanate and the UAE and the brotherhood that unites the two peoples represent a solid base and a starting point for developing and strengthening economic and trade relations, within a framework of complementary partnerships that enable business owners in both countries to establish more successful projects. Noting that the UAE is among the top three countries in foreign direct investment in the Sultanate, and similarly the UAE ranks first for Omani direct investments abroad. For his part, Al Sharqi affirmed the strength of the economic and trade relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman, which represent a unique model at various levels, expressing his hope for the importance of advancing economic and commercial cooperation relations, through the exchange of ideas and information and access to formulas that achieve mutual benefit between the business society in Fujairah and Oman.
